Core Values
Core Values of Trinity Baptist Church
The following presents the core values of Trinity Baptist Church.
We desire that they define and drive this ministry in the context of a warm and caring environment.
WE DESIRE TO SEE REGENERATION, RATHER THAN REFORMATION
We desire people to come as they are and change as they grow in their relationship to God. We desire change from the inside out, rather than from the outside in.
THE CHURCH IS PEOPLE, NOT PROGRAMS, OR FACILITIES
The Trinity Baptist Church facility is located at 1702-106thst. in the City of North Battleford. However, “TBC” is scattered all over the Battleford District area because, our people are the church. We do not come to church just on Sunday; we are the church 7 days a week.
WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get)
Transparency and honesty are qualities that we honor. Being a “performer” in the Christian life is not acceptable behavior for the believer. We are interested in “being” rather than just “doing.”
WE ARE A FAMILY
Family relationships are not optional within the church.
Relationships are the church. We struggle together as a family, and we have some of the same difficulties any family experiences.
However, we work through our struggles together, rather than alone.
The Christian life is not a solo journey.
We are inter-dependent on one another, not, independent of one another.
WE GO INTO THE WORLD, RATHER THAN BRINGING THE WORLD TO US
We are to be salt and light in this world Therefore, we seek to be known as a friend of sinners, without being known as a friend of the world.
LESS IS MORE
With the constant time demands of our society, it is easy for church activities to be destructive to the family and the church body. Therefore, we seek to establish activities on a “need” basis rather than a “tradition” basis.
THE BIBLE IS FOR TRANSFORMATION, NOT INFORMATION
We believe the best test of your relationship with God is demonstrated by your life under pressure. Our actions can be planned, but our reactions reveal our character. God's Word must be applied and worked into our lives, not just studied, read, or honored.
BALANCE
This ministry is structured for growth, not control.
